We just tested Mosnaps on all 3 OS versions. It works pretty good. In 4.6 it also scans for wifi connection and switches to wifi mode if the phone connected. So go ahead. Enjoy Mosnapping and please let us know how you like what we have created.

We are seeing some issues in 4.3 and 4.5 OS builds. The goal is to fix them this weekend and release by Monday Oct 27th.

Mosnaps for blackberry 4.2 works fine.

Mosnaps is a very simple to use blackberry app that lets you post photos and quick text posts to your blackberry. Mosnaps also come with GPS so you can actually show a photo trail on your blog and send instant updates to your friends and blog readers when you make a new post. 

This tutorial assumes, you are aware of Mosnaps application for blackberry.

And the other cool aspect of Mosnaps is, you don’t have to give your blog login and password.

There are 2 simple steps in this setup process:

1. Web Setup
2. Blackberry Setup

Web Setup

1. Create a Mosnaps account
2. Login to your account and go to ‘destinations’ tab
3. Click on ‘Wordpress’ from list of destinations in the sidebar
4. Fill out the Wordpress form and hit save
5. After you saved the information, click on ’step 2′. You will see a stylesheet code, copy and paste the code between your head tag of your blog (we also have step by step tutorial in your account on how to do that)

Blackberry Setup

1. Now download the Mosnaps app to your blackberry
2. Launch the app, enter your login information
3. From your menu click ‘Sync Destinations’. You will see your Blog Appear in the list of destinations.
4. That’s it. Now every time you take a photo and upload, just select ‘Blog’ as your destination on your blackberry. The post and image will be posted to your Wordpress blog.

We are excited to announce the release of the new version of Mosnaps app and the website.  We have totally revamped the application and site based on all your feedback. I must admit that it looks really cool. And i must say:

If you have a Blackberry camera phone and you don’t have Mosnaps, you are missing something

What did we change:

• We have added GPS to mosnaps so all photos can be geo-coded
• Now Just 2 clicks to upload photos to your Mosnaps account, blog, website or your social site accunt
• It was 6 to 8 before depending on what screen you were in (so you know now how much we have revamped the interface)
• You can add delete destinations where you want to send your photos straight from phone
• Distribution lists: You can now create many distribution groups like (friends, family etc) and send alerts when you upload a photo to your Mosnaps account.
